Question #1: Is the township on the hook for 10% of the operational costs of the school on an ongoing basis?

Response: Council Report 2024-115 of Sept 18, 2024 speaks to the Operation Agreement with TVDSB.

In reference to the share of the operation costs, Section 3.03 Cost Sharing: The parties hereby acknowledge, confirm, and agree that the Common Facilities Costs shall be shared between the parties based on each party’s Proportionate Share.

The Proportionate Share means the percentage allocation each party contributes to the Common Facilities Costs: i) For the municipality, the percentage being: Total Square footage of the municipal facilities / Total Square Footage of the School.
