Get a Career Head Start with One of Ontario’s Only High School HVAC Programs

College Avenue Secondary School is home to one of Ontario’s only high school HVAC programs, giving Thames Valley students a unique head start in a high-demand skilled trade.

This Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) program provides hands-on training with industry standard equipment, opportunities to earn recognized certifications and a pathway for students to graduate with their G3 gas technician license.

With strong connections in the skilled trades sector, a robust co-op program, and a partnership with Fanshawe College that brings specialized post-secondary HVAC training directly into the school, students gain real-world experience and a clear pathway into apprenticeship, college or university.
