Selections Workshop Registration

Lester B. Pearson School for the Arts has now closed online registration for the Selections Workshop.

Who Should Register?

Students in Grades 3 to 7 who have a passion for the arts can register to attend the workshop held in March.

The workshop is in person. Grade 3 students attend two days, while students in higher grades attend one day.

Students participate in Music, Visual Arts, Dance, and Drama. They are observed and evaluated based on their participation.

Registration closes January 31 each year.

We offer 56 Grade 3 students admission for September. Students in higher grades are placed on a waiting list. If a space becomes available, the next student on the list will be offered placement.

Students remain on the waitlist until the next Selection Workshop cycle is completed.

Is There a Cost?

The workshop cost is $60. A payment link will be emailed to those who register through the online form.

About Our School

Pearson operates on a six-day cycle with a slightly extended school day to accommodate both academic and enriched arts programming.

School hours: 9:35 a.m. to 4:05 p.m.

The school provides five bus routes covering most areas of the city. Transportation is parent-paid and not part of the My Big Yellow Bus system.

Bus rides may be longer, and stops may be farther from home compared to standard routes. Payment can be made monthly through School Cash Online.

The annual transportation fee is approximately $1,250 (or $125 per month over 10 months).
