Welcome to East Oxford Central Public School
East Oxford Central Public School is a vibrant and welcoming rural school located in the eastern-central region of Oxford County. Established in 1966 through the amalgamation of seven local schools, East Oxford has a proud tradition of community, learning, and growth.
We are a Full-Day Kindergarten to Grade 8 school that serves a diverse and dynamic student population. All of our students are transported to school by bus, reflecting our strong rural roots and wide-reaching community.
Our dedicated and caring staff provide a comprehensive educational experience that supports the academic, social, and emotional development of every child. From literacy and numeracy to the arts, sciences, and physical education, we are committed to nurturing the potential of every student in a safe and inclusive environment.

Measures of Student Achievement and Success At Thames Valley
We believe that assessment and evaluation of student achievement are integral parts of the learning process. Information gathered through assessment and evaluation helps teachers to determine students' strengths and weaknesses in their achievement of the curriculum expectations. Assessment also serves to guide teachers in adapting curriculum and instructional approaches to students' needs and in assessing the overall effectiveness of programs and classroom practices. A variety of methods are used to gauge student progress including: teacher observation, classroom tests, projects and other examples of student work.
