Grade 8 Open House – Save the Date
Our Grade 8 Open House will take place on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 , starting in the auditorium at 6:00 p.m.
Event Schedule
- 6:00 p.m. – Presentation in the auditorium with information on registration for the 2026–2027 school year.
- 6:30–8:00 p.m. – Self‑guided tours throughout the school, including Fitness, Arts, Academics, and the Library Learning Commons. Every department will be represented. Meet current staff and students and explore our school.
To learn everything you need to know about registering for Grade 9 at London Central for September 2026, please attend our Grade 8 Open House. The presentation will be posted on this page at a later date.
If you have questions, please speak with your Guidance Lead Teacher at your elementary school or call London Central and ask for the Guidance Department.

Who Can Register Directly
Canadian citizens and permanent residents living with a parent or legal guardian who resides in Ontario:
- If English is your first language, complete the online pre‑registration process on the TVDSB registration page . The school will arrange an appointment to finalize registration.
- If English is not your first language, complete the same online pre‑registration. The school will contact One World – International Welcome Centre. Literacy and numeracy assessments may be required.
International and Out‑of‑Province Students
Canadian citizens or permanent residents whose parent or legal guardian does not reside in Ontario, as well as international or non‑Canadian students, must register through One World – International Welcome Centre before contacting London Central Secondary School.

Required Paperwork for One World
- Proof of residence (e.g., utility bill, lease agreement, purchase agreement, property tax bill, cable or internet bill). Driver’s licences and cell phone bills are not accepted.
- Proof of birth (birth certificate or passport) and permanent resident card, if applicable.
- Official transcript from the previous school (translated into English if required), showing courses completed and attendance status.
