Oxbow Public School opened to students in September 1969.

Oxbow is a JK-8 school and home of the Stars. Our school colours are blue and yellow.  Oxbow is located to the east of the town of Ilderton on 11 acres of land. All the students travel to and from school on the buses. Oxbow has a long standing tradition of excellence academically, athletically and artistically. Oxbow is very proud of its talent shows, school theatre, new fun math strategies, excellent student citizenship, premiere physical education department, heart warming seasonal music concerts, dedicated Home and School Council and over all thriving learning culture. Friendly staff and students line the hallways here at Oxbow where the sky is the limit.
