Welcome to A. B. Lucas Secondary School, "Home of the Vikings!" A.B. Lucas offers rigorous academic programming in addition to a vibrant and supportive school community where students work with caring adults to learn the value of empathy, leadership and social responsibility. A.B. Lucas opened its doors in September 1963 and was named after Dr. Alexander Burton Lucas, a Londoner who had a distinguished career in education, having served as a teacher, principal, inspector, Teacher's College master, superintendent and director; retiring in London as our Director of Education. We are very proud of this legacy for Vikings past and present and we look forward to future Vikings building on this success.
