School Council
School Council is an excellent way for parents and caregivers to get involved in your school community.
Interested in joining your School Council? Talk to an administrator at your school for more information.
School councils are a great way to get more involved in your child’s education. They provide a forum for parents and other members of school communities to contribute in improving student achievement and school performance. By being part of the school council, you will be able to stay more informed about what is happening at the school and the board. You will also be able to contribute ideas and express opinions.
The school council consists of an elected committee of chair/co-chair, parent representatives, the principal, school staff representative, community representative, and a representative of Home and School Associations.
