Glen Cairn Public School is a community school for students in Kindergarten to Grade 8. It is located in the southeast area of London, Ontario.
The school serves the Pond Mills neighbourhood. The catchment area is generally:
- North: Commissioner’s Road
- East: Highbury Avenue
- Southwest: The ravine and railway tracks
School Facilities and Growth
In 1992, renovations expanded the school to support a growing community. These updates included:
- 14 additional classrooms
- A library
- A double gymnasium
- A staff room and servery
Today, the school has approximately 580 students. Glen Cairn is a diverse and multicultural community, and we are proud to welcome families from around the world.
Community and Student Life
Glen Cairn Public School is strongly supported by the local community and the Glen Cairn Community Centre. The school offers:
- A before- and after-school program
- An active School Council and Home & School association, which meet monthly to provide input on school decisions
In addition to academic learning, staff support a wide range of student opportunities, including:
