About Us

Our school supports the Ekcoe Eagles Program. This positive incentive program identifies:

...designed to assist students achieve success at school and leadership for the 21st Century. Our Code of Conduct establishes standards of behavior for students, staff and parents.

At Ekcoe, our teaching and learning never ends. Students are often found working on projects like Coding, Stop Motion PSAs (Public Service Announcements) and inquiry-based learning activities.

Students are fortunate to be part of an active school that encourages team-based sports such as basketball and volleyball through junior and senior level teams for both genders.

Ekcoe students also participate fully in clubs and groups such as Student Leadership, Primary Glee Club, Junior Glee Club, Lunch Helpers, Office Helpers and Celebration Committee.

Our History

Ekcoe Central is a rural school built in 1969 serving Glencoe and the township of Ekfrid. It is a JK–Grade 8 inclusive school.
