College Avenue Secondary School (CASS) is a public high school in Woodstock, Ontario. This inclusive, welcoming school is highly regarded for its robust technological and specialized trades curriculum.

CASS is located on an expansive, picturesque campus in the southern part of Woodstock. It is easily accessible to all areas of the Thames Valley District School Board via Highway 401 or Highway 2. The school building is well-designed and well-maintained, with the main floor built around an attractive court yard and large water fountain that is a focal point of the school entrance foyer. All teaching areas and hallways are large, allowing for the safe and easy movement of staff and students.

In addition to offering Specialist High Skills Majors (SHSM) in Agriculture, Hospitality & Tourism, Hairstyling & Aesthetics, and Manufacturing and Robotics, CASS is home to one of Ontario's ONLY Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) programs! This incredibly unique and highly specialized HVAC program gives students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, get post-secondary level training from Fanshawe College, earn multiple industry-recognized certifications, and even graduate with their Gas Technician 3 (G3) license, setting them up for success in the skilled trades.

CASS offers a wide variety of athletic opportunities. Our 20 athletic teams compete in the Southeast Conference of the Thames Valley Regional Athletics Association. You can even earn a credit while enhancing your hockey skills with our Healthy Living and Large Group Activities (Hockey - Coed) Grade 10 and 11 course!

The Talented and Gifted (TAG) Program at CASS is designed for identified gifted and talented students who are interested in extended learning and seeking more diverse learning opportunities. Students are invited to join this program based on their academic standing.

Students grow into successful leaders at CASS! Take advantage of our Leadership program through opportunities like Student Council. Leadership students organize events around the school, create meaningful engagement activities that boost school spirit, and may even have the opportunity to attend leadership conferences.

Interested in Robotics? Students have the opportunity to not only explore their passion for Robotics through the Robotics Club, WIRED 7475, but also through Robotics focussed courses like Manufacturing Engineering Technology and Technological Design in grades 10, 11 and 12.

Explore new interests or develop your skills by joining one of our many clubs, including: Chess, Art Club, Comedy & Improv Troupe, Rainbow Knights, Spirit Band, Robotics, Intramural Sports , Virtual Reality (VR), House Band, or our biennial musical production.
