Study Opportunities

Register for one of our schools as an elementary student or a secondary student.

Elementary school includes Kindergarten to grade 8 where students range from 4 to 13 years of age. Secondary school covers grade 9 to grade 12 with students from 14 to 17 years of age.

Semester programs

Register to study with us for a single semester. The first semester runs from September to January and the second semester runs from February to June.

Register to study at one of our schools for an entire year. A school year starts in September and runs until the end of June.

Long-term to graduate with a secondary school diploma.
Register to study at one of our schools for a longer term and earn your secondary school diploma. After graduating secondary school, you can take advantage of some of London's world-class post-secondary and research institutions, including:
  • Western University
  • Ivey School of Business
  • Fanshawe College
English as a Second Language

If you are an English Second Language student registering for secondary school, you will need to complete an evaluation at the Reception, Orientation and Assessment Centre. After you complete the English language assessment, you will be given the appropriate level of language instruction.

There are five English Second Language courses that you can earn credits in as well as a full range of required classes that offer language support.

Courses that prepare you for university and college take place in a classroom with Canadian students.

Tuition Fees

Payment of tuition fees and the application fee must be made by wire transfer, EFT, or recognized Canadian bank draft or money order in Canadian dollars, payable to: Thames Valley District School Board.

Please submit a copy of the confirmation of the bank wire in order to match the funds received in our bank account.

Refunds
  1. If Citizenship and Immigration Canada does not approve an application to study in Canada, the tuition fee, less a $100.00 administrative fee, will be refunded when a copy of the letter of refusal issued by a Canadian Embassy is provided.
  2. If International Admissions accepts a student and the student decides not to attend, the tuition fee will be refunded, less a $500.00 cancellation fee. The original letter of acceptance is required to be returned.
  3. If an international fee-paying student does attend the Thames Valley District School Board and wishes to leave the school board or return home within 30 calendar days from the start of the program, two-thirds of the tuition fees, less a $500.00 administrative fee, will be refunded.
  4. There will be no refund of tuition fees if an international fee-paying student does attend the Thames Valley District School Board and chooses to leave the school board or return home after 30 calendar days from the start of the program.
  5. There will be no refund of tuition fees if the student is found in violation of admission, school or homestay policies and procedures and is asked to withdraw from the school or homestay program.
  6. There will be no refund of international tuition fees if the student changes immigration status during the term covered by the tuition fees paid with the exception of students who become permanent residents of Canada. Those students will be eligible for a refund on a pro-rated basis.
