Extra-curricular activities enhance the skills and knowledge learned through academics and significantly impact school life for our students. Participation in athletics, clubs and other school events helps our students develop valuable social skills that strengthen the school culture and contribute to an enriched learning environment in our schools.
We recognize and value the voluntary work by board staff and community members that allow these programs to succeed and enhance our students' learning experiences outside the classroom.
Arts |
Our schools provide students with the ability to express their creativity through a variety of extra-curricular programs. Most schools offer music, drama and dance programs that appeal to our artistically-minded students. Check with your school to see what opportunities they offer. |
Clubs |
Our schools offer clubs that appeal to students' wide variety of interests and help them connect with like-minded individuals. Many of our schools have math clubs, robotics clubs, photography clubs, and environmental clubs, for example. Secondary schools generally offer a wider selection of clubs to participate in. Check with your school to see what clubs you can join. |
