Night School

Night School is a great option for current Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB) secondary school students and  current TVDSB adult education students  who want to complete additional credits or improve grades on previously earned credits.

TVDSB secondary school students who are interested in taking a night school credit course must have approval from their home school Administrator or Guidance Counsellor to attend Night School. Also, students under the age of 18 must have parent/legal guardian approval to attend Night School.

For the 2020-2021 school year, Semester 2 Night School credit courses will be offered online using the Brightspace platform and will be delivered using a blend of synchronous online and asynchronous online teaching and learning.

Synchronous course work will occur on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. Students must also complete an additional 3 hours of asynchronous work each week. Students are expected to log in regularly to complete assignments, receive teacher feedback, keep up with course material and meet all due dates.

Prior to the start of Semester 2 Online Night School courses, students will receive notification providing them with direction on how to access the Brightspace online platform.

All night school credit courses meet the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum expectations.
