International Languages Elementary Program Registration:

Registration for the 2024 - 2025 school year is OPEN.

Registration for the 2024 - 2025 school year is completed online. It is recommended you find your child's Ontario Education Number (OEN) prior to starting registration. The OEN is found on most educational documents such as report cards.

  • The International Languages Elementary Program will be conducted in-person for 2024 - 2025 school year.
  • The program is open to any elementary school student from Thames Valley District School Board or another publicly funded school board.
  • Please Note: Student participation will NOT begin until Administration is able to place your child in an appropriate class. Parents will be notified by email of the start date for their child.
  • We highly encourage parents/guardians to register as soon as possible to ensure there is space in the language of choice.

International Languages Elementary Program Value:

Our international languages program gives students the opportunity to:

  • Maintain their heritage, language and culture
  • Learn the language of their cultural background
  • Learn a new language
  • Understand a new culture

 

 

Saturday Morning Program

International Languages Elementary Program Dates for Saturday morning classes (9:30 AM to 11:45 AM):

  • First Day:  September 21, 2024
  • Last Day:  May 10, 2025
  • There will be no classes on long weekends or school holidays. There are no classes on:
    • October 12, 2024
    • December 21, 2024
    • December 28, 2024
    • January 4, 2025
    • February 15, 2025
    • March 8, 2025
    • March 15, 2025
    • April 19, 2025

  • First Day:  September 24, 2024
  • Last Day:  April 29, 2025
  • There will be no classes on school holidays. There are no classes on:
    • December 24, 2024
    • December 31, 2024
    • March 11, 2025
  • The following language is offered at College Avenue Secondary School, 700 College Ave. Woodstock, ON:
    • Polish
    • Punjabi

 

Classes run based on sufficient enrolment.  Registration occurs on a continuous basis.  We highly encourage parents/guardians to register their children before the end of June each school year.
