Improvement Course Online Program

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.
The Summer Improvement Course Online program is open to current TVDSB secondary students who   have already passed a course in this school year but wish to improve their final grade, and also to   students who want to close learning gaps and enhance their knowledge of course content. These   courses will cover key expectations of the curriculum content.
For summer 2021, there will be two Improvement Course online sessions offered in July. Students can   register for a maximum of two improvement courses but are only allowed to select one course per   session. Students who have registered for a summer eLearning course will also be allowed to register   for one summer Improvement Course.
Students may receive only one credit for any secondary course. As per Ministry of Education   requirements, students who repeat a Grade 9 or 10 course will have only the attempt with the higher   grade recorded on their Ontario Student Transcript. For students who repeat a Grade 11 or 12 course,   each attempt will appear on their transcript with the percentage grade obtained. The attempt with the   lower grade will have an “R” in the credit column on the transcript, indicating the student repeated the   course and that the percentage grade given for this attempt is the lower grade. Only the higher mark is   considered by post secondary institutions..
