We strive to be an active leader and corporate model for environmental sustainability, the concept that requires that human activity only uses nature's resources at a rate at which they can be replenished naturally. 

We design innovative interdisciplinary programs that focus on the natural environment and include field-based components for staff and students, in cooperation with the home, local organizations, and the community, to engage student leadership in stewardship of our local environment, and the sustainable use of natural resources .
