Camps and Summer Programs

Summer School Registration
You can register for summer school by visiting G. A. Wheable, at 70 Jacquline Street, London ON

Items required at registration:

  1. Completed registration form [link to PDF]
    • Form must include:
      • Parent/guardian signature
      • Home school principal signature
  2. Most recent and updated transcript or credit counselling summary
  3. Proof of Canadian citizenship, including:
    • Canadian birth certificate
    • Canadian passport
    • Canadian citizenship card
    • Immigration papers (with arrival and expiry dates)
    • Permanent Resident card (with arrival and expiry dates)
New Credit (In-Class)
New Credit summer courses are offered at four London high schools. Grades 9 and 10 are held at A.B. Lucas Secondary School, while grades 11 and 12 are held at H.B. Beal Secondary School.

Register for new credit summer courses by completing the registration form [link to PDF] and emailing it to summerschool@tvdsb.on.ca

New Credit (E-Learning)
New Credit E-Learning courses are offered to current TVDSB students only. Register online and then talk to a Guidance Counsellor at your school for information on course offerings and to have all the necessary paper work completed.
Summer Cooperative Education
Summer Cooperative Education is offered during the month of July. If you are interested in this program, talk to the Guidance Department at your school to complete and submit the Cooperative Education package. This program also involves in-class and online pre-placement sessions.
High School Here I Come

The High School Here I Come program is a four-day course made for students entering grade nine. The orientation course runs in August and gives students an idea what to expect when they begin High School in September.

International Students

International students are welcome to register for our summer school courses.Course fees must be paid by a money order or certified cheque at the G. A. Wheable Registrar's Office, 70 Jacqueline Street, London ON.

Fees:

  • Literacy/Numeracy 7/8 Non-credit Summer Courses - $610
  • ESL 7/8 Non-credit Summer Courses - $610
  • High School Here I Come! - $244
Literacy/Numeracy/ESL Camps for Grade 7 and 8 Students
Grade 7 and 8 students can register online for Literacy, Numeracy and ESL summer courses. These courses are offered at Antler River, Montcalm Secondary School, Nicholas Wilson Public School, Wilfrid Jury Public School and W. Sherwood Fox Public School.
