Each year an Indigenous Student Trustee is elected in the Fall to represent the voice of students who identify as First Nations, Metis or Inuit. They will serve alongside our other Student Trustees to represent the student body at the Board table. Candidates must be a full-time grade 11 or 12 or equivalent student.
First Nation Advisory Committee
The First Nation Advisory Committee (FNAC) was established over 10 years ago. The committee's mandate is to make recommendations to the Board in regards to the implementation of the tuition agreements. As such, FNAC provides a forum for school administrators and First Nation community representatives to share issues and concerns regarding the programming as it relates with Indigenous students and schools associated with tuition agreements. |
