About Us

Established in 2001, The Thames Valley Education Foundation (TVEF) is a registered charitable organization affiliated with the Thames Valley District School Board. TVEF exists to build partnerships with the community that enhance opportunities in our schools and enrich public education.

Our Mission
TVEF’s mission is to provide enhanced learning opportunities for Thames Valley students by fostering support from all sectors of society.
Our Beliefs
TVEF believes that public education is a collective responsibility of the entire community. We all have
a stake in building successful schools. We believe that community support and cooperation are key foundations on which an exemplary public education system can be built.
Our Funding Priorities
TVEF’s is to support programs that address the following needs:
  • initiatives to support parent and community involvement and participation in the education process;

  • promotion of safe schools;

The 2023/2024 Caring Fund Impact Report is in!

The Caring Fund supports students’ basic personal needs, contributes to helping a student attend or stay engaged with school, and supports students who want to participate in a school activity where lack of funds prevents them from doing so.

Thank you to our donors who supported the Caring Fund and all its successes.

Ways to Help

We believe by supporting Thames Valley Education Foundation you are helping our students prepare for the challenges of tomorrow.

Every dollar matters. A $25 donation packs a week of lunches for a student who didn’t have a lunch last week. A $100 donation keeps a student warm in the winter with a proper winter coat instead of the sweatshirt they were wearing. A $5,000 donation to the Caring Fund supports approximately 16 emergency requests.

A donation to Thames Valley Education Foundation gives hope to a student’s otherwise uncertain future.

TVEF must raise $500,000 to ensure every student that needs a little or a lot of support is cared for and given every opportunity to learn at their best and be their best.
