Expression of Interest Form for Principals and Vice Principals (Internal and External Applicants)

As the fourth largest school board in the province and recognized as the employer of choice in southwestern Ontario, the Thames Valley District School Board welcomes applications from individuals interested in the roles of Vice-Principal and Principal. Please see the enclosed Promotional Practices document and use the link to submit your expression of interest to Phase One of the process.

You must complete the online Expression of Interest form provided to be considered for the position of Principal or Vice-Principal.

All applicants will be required to email a PDF file of their Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) Statement of Qualifications separately, as part of the expression of interest.

Expression of Interest Online Application

In order to apply, the following criteria is required at the time of application as follows:

Principal Candidates - Principal's Qualification Program (PQP) Parts 1 and 2 completed and must presently hold a Leadership position, such as Vice-Principal, or other position deemed equivalent by the Readiness for Interview Process Committee.

Vice-Principal Candidates - Principal's Qualification Program Part 1 must either be complete or must be enrolled in the current term of the Principal's Qualification Program Part 1, with a commitment to enroll in the next available Principal's Qualification Program Part 2, upon successful completion of Principal's Qualification Program Part 1

Voluntary Self-Identification Survey

You will have the option of completing a Voluntary Self Identification Survey. This data will be used to help inform the TVDSB’s future recruitment practices and ensure that the Principal and Vice-Principal (P/VP) Selection Process is aligned with the District’s commitment to mirroring our diverse student population.
