East Oxford Elementary Panel Attendance Area Review begins
Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB) has started the East Oxford Elementary Panel Attendance Area Review.
This review is happening because East Oxford Central Public School is experiencing high enrollment, and we need to look at possible changes.
You can read the initial report, which explains the potential changes to the attendance areas for East Oxford Central, Emily Stowe, and Central public schools, at www.tvdsb.ca/eoaar.
Next steps, as approved by the current Supervisor of Education for TVDSB, include moving forward with public consultation on the report.
As part of the consultation process, TVDSB is inviting parents and caregivers to join the Attendance Area Review Committee (AARC). Members will help share information and collect feedback from their school communities.
AARC members are invited to attend a meeting on April 1, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at East Oxford Central Public School. After that meeting, each school’s AARC group will connect with its community to gather more information and prepare a summary of what they heard.
A final report will be shared with all committee members and posted on the TVDSB website in the fall of 2026.
Attendance area changes will only take effect following public consultation and board Supervisor approval. The earliest the board would implement any attendance area changes would be the 2027-28 school year.
If you have questions, please submit them here: Questions Link.
The deadline for parents to express interest in joining the Attendance Area Review Committee is 8 a.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026. Copies of forms are available from affected schools and on the attendance area review website.
