Community Use of Facilities

  

Community Use of Schools is an initiative that supports access to school space outside of school hours for not-for-profit community groups.

To Book a Thames Valley District School Board(TVDSB)Facility:

  1. Complete the application and return the form via fax or mail.
  2. A minimum of 15 working days is required to process single date rental requests.
  3. Applications for seasonal bookings (September to August) should be submitted by April 30th for the subsequent school year to be given first consideration. Our office will confirm availability and details of rental requirements in June and July.
  4. Applicants must provide proof of general liability insurance of $2-million naming the TVDSB as an Additional Insured. It is possible to purchase insurance through the TVDSB.
  5. The Agreement must be signed and payment received prior to the commencement of the rental. Non payment by the stipulated dates may result in immediate contract cancellation and could affect future booking availability.
  6. All school related functions shall have priority over rentals.
  7. Please consider your times and dates carefully, as no refunds will be provided for periodic cancellations on multi-date contracts.
  8. Contract revisions and cancellations are subject to a $25.00 fee per occurrence.

Please consider your times and dates carefully, as no refunds will be provided for periodic cancellations on multi-date contracts. Refunds or alternative date/room will be provided if it is necessary for a school to displace a Community Use Group
