Seasonal Card Contest
Design our Official Seasonal Greeting Card!
All Thames Valley students are encouraged to get out their favourite art supplies to create an original work of art for the cover of a seasonal greeting card.
About 250 cards, featuring one of four unique covers, will be sent to members of the community from Education Director Bill Tucker and Board of Trustees Chair Joyce Bennett. In addition, the artwork will be featured on the TVDSB website.
The four card designs will feature the work of one student in each of these grade categories:
- Developmental Education
- Primary (JK – Grade 3)
- Junior (Grades 4-6)
- Intermediate (Grades 7-8)
- and Secondary (Grades 9-12)
The contest is open until October 26 and the winners will be announced early November. Students may submit their artwork to a teacher who will forward it to the committee that will judge the entries. All entries will be displayed in the Education Centre in November.
All submissions must be the original artwork of the registrant, follow a winter theme and can be created using various media, such as photography, paint, crayon, collage and pastel or computer generated graphics.
