Spring Book Fair: The Scholastic Book Fair was an incredible success. Thank you to all of our shoppers and parent volunteers. Congratulations to Lexine and Mme Broadhead who won the shopping spree. Forest of Reading Update - Our Book Clubs have come to an end for 2012. Students have voted on their favourites and the winners are: Blue Spruce - Giraffe and Bird Silver Birch Express - When Apples Grew Noses and White Horses Flew Silver Birch - Neil Flambé and the Aztec Adventure Red Maple - Home Truths Un grand merci à Mme Brotto qui m’aide avec Silver Birch Express pour 4e année. Great Websites: See New Section in Left-hand Menu Book Donations: Are you in the mood to start spring cleaning a little early? We have had several families inquire about donating books. We are happy to receive donations of books for all grade levels. Some may be used for the library collection and others are gratefully accepted by classroom teachers to improve classroom libraries. Feel free to contact Mme Telfer for more information. ***Looking for Harry Potter*** Our copies of all the books in the Harry Potter series have been well loved over the years and are beginning to fall apart. If your family has any "just like new" copies they would like to donate to the library, they would be much appreciated. Searching Our Collection From Home : Don’t forget that students and parents can search for library books from home. Visit the school website, www.tvdsb.ca/Trudeau.cfm and choose the library option from the left menu. Next, click on the Search Our Library image. Have you registered for "E-News"? This allows you to receive emails from the school to notify you of special events, results of sporting events, updates from our PTA and SAC, plus much more. By choosing "Sign up for E-News" from the left menu on our school website, www.tvdsb.ca/Trudeau.cfm, you will be able to enter your email address to ensure that you receive these updates. Any information entered remains confidential and is only used for E-News purposes. E-News will not replace our monthly newsletters that are sent home from the school (and are available on the website).
