That's Mr. and Mrs. Parr in the second row of a Barenaked Ladies concert!

Welcome to Mr. Parr's website!

The first classical guitar course offered in a London high school was right here at Beal. We are continuing a tradition of offering a comprehensive and meaningful curriculum in this very popular music class. Click on the Guitar link to learn more about our courses.

The Music and Computers page has lots of video lessons from the recording studio course for you to watch and review as necessary.

Have you checked out the recording studio yet? Go to the Studio 225 page to hear tracks from our compilation CDs and see some pictures from Studio 225.

April 12, 2013: We won a $200 gift card from Long & McQuade for our 2012 recording of the Beal Guitar Ensemble performing "And Your Bird Can Sing." Thanks, L&M!

April 11, 2013: Mr. Parr was thrilled to receive a Teaching Honour Roll Award from Western University for a course he taught at Althouse College in 2011-2012. This award is based on the Instructor Evaluations completed by students in the course. Teachers who score an average of 90% on 14 points of criteria receive the award.

Here are some Beal guitar alumni making the most of their education...
