April 11, 2013 grade 10 students (and some grade 11 and 12s) will be writing the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test.
Students need to aim to do their best. The "pass" for this test is not a basic 50%, rather students should be proficient in their reading and writing skills. Your student's goal should be to get approximately 70% to be successful.
This test will take all morning. Students need to report directly to the room that they are assigned to write in (approximately one month before the test student's room information will be posted outside the office).
Bring a pencil and a blue or black pen.
Ensure that you get a good night sleep the night before. Eat a good breakfast. Try your best and have a positive attitude!
