Many graduates of the Thames Valley District School Board pursue higher education at various institutions and are faced with the formidable task of acquiring sufficient money for tuition fees, living expenses, texts and materials. There is a definite need for funds to assist deserving students who are graduating.

It is also recognized that many worthy students need encouragement in the form of prizes and awards to stimulate their pursuit of higher education.
