Summer School programs include Secondary New or Improvement Credits for Grade 9-12 students, Summer Revive Cooperative Education, Grade 7 and 8 Literacy and Numeracy, Grade 7 and 8 ESL, High School Here I Come, and a variety of e-Learning credit course offerings.
Summer School programs meet the needs of all learners.
• Elementary students benefit from rich Literacy/Numeracy based learning,
• ESL learners upgrade their literacy skills, and secondary students have the opportunity to improve existing grades or to reach ahead, and
• students entering Grade 9 benefit greatly from learning about their new school prior to making the transition from elementary to secondary school.
This group photo and classroom pictures were taken at the New Credit Grade 9 and 10 Summer School site at A. B. Lucas S.S where more than 650 students are attending Grade 9-10 New Credit classes this summer.
