“We were thrilled the Mayor took time out of his schedule to visit Mountsfield,” said Principal Patty Baker, adding that Mayor Fontana also joined students to take The Pledge against bullying.

She said students enjoyed hearing the mayor’s thoughts on protecting the environment, the challenges of his job, the importance of respecting one another and each other’s opinions, as well as some personal stories about his Italian heritage.
