Learning Coordinators

Learning Coordinators support schools in enhancing literacy skills of staff and all students. They assist in implementing Balanced Literacy and support schools in literacy initiatives to work towards System and School Improvement Goals in reading and writing. Learning Coordinators develop and deliver system professional development related to Language curriculum K - 12.

Literacy Coaches

Literacy Coaches provide intensive support for Elementary schools within the system. As members of the Program Services learning team, they assist in the implementation of Ministry and system program initiatives. They focus on supporting schools and staff in specific learning programs. Literacy Coaches promote, develop and facilitate teacher professional development.
