Contest Information
The Thames Valley District School Board supports and values the diversity within school communities and is committed to providing a safe, respectful and equitable environment for all. Students are encouraged to demonstrate their creativity and ingenuity by creating videos that support the core values of equity and represent inclusive school environments.
 
We Are One: Guidelines 
  • Videos must promote the core values of equity and inclusive education.
  • There will be prizes awarded in two categories: Elementary and Secondary schools. 
  • The contest is open to all elementary and secondary school students in TVDSB.
  • Projects can be personal or group submissions.
  • The finalists will be chosen by a panel made up of representatives of the TVDSB.
  • The top 5 videos from Elementary Schools, and the top 5 videos from the Secondary Schools will be selected as finalists for public voting.
  • Prize money will be awarded to the school for resources and/or initiatives that support equity and inclusive education.
  • In order to avoid copyright infringement you will need to use music that allows for its use within a video project. A few resources have been provided below under the 'Related Links' area.


$2,500 in Prizes will be awarded to
the winning schools!
