

Anti-Bullying Forum: Community Discussion Summary Report Prepared by Research and Assessment ______________________________________________________________________ Purpose: The purpose of this project is to identify the key strategies that members of the community believe are effective in preventing and responding to bullying. Methodology: Members of three communities (London, St. Thomas and Woodstock) participated in small group brainstorming sessions about preventing and responding to bullying. Group facilitators recorded all of the participants’ responses.
Analyses: Responses were reviewed by Research and Assessment staff. Common themes were identified based on the responses to each of the questions listed above. The themes that had the largest number of responses are presented below for each of the questions in each of the three regions (London, St. Thomas and Woodstock). The frequencies and percentages of responses are also listed. The themes that were most common across the eight groups and three regions are presented following the group results.
