David Suzuki Foundation: Education Guide

Connecting With Nature  an educational guide for grades four to six.  This resource is filled with fun activities that get kids outside to explore issues like biodiversity, where our food comes from and how to conserve energy.

Green Learning Canada is a solar oven challenge, a carbon calculator, and a unique field school.  It is e-learning activities and hands-on construction plans.

Clean Air Champions

Clean Air Champions (CAC) Grades 5 - 9 programs explore transportation choices and its impact on air, water, soil and health.
Grades 9 - 12 programs will challenge students to complete as many actions as possible.

Environmental Education:  Scope and Sequence of Expectations

These documents identify both the expectations that are connected explicitly with aspects of environmental education, and those that can provide opportunities to make connection to environmental topics or issues in various ways.

 Field Trips

TVDSB Environmental Education Centres have many outdoor field trips related to the Ontario education curriculum.  The London Environmental Education Centre has two sites; Wellington Road and Pond Mills.  The Jaffa site is located near Aylmer and the Vansittart Woods site is located east of Woodstock.  
Programs and transportation costs for the 2012/13 school year are free of charge.
  

The Kettle Creek Conservation Authority provides both in-class and outdoor conservation education experiences which are closely tied to a variety of grade specific curriculum.    

Fanshawe Outdoor Education Centre offers a wide variety of activities for all grade levels. Staff teaching flexibility allows them to modify most programs to complement your in-class studies.
