Elementary Track and Field Finals at TD Waterhouse
Monday, June 4, 2012 – Thousands of student athletes are ready to compete in the 13th annual Elementary Schools Regional Track and Field Finals on Wednesday, June 6 at Western University’s TD Waterhouse Stadium. More than 11,000 student athletes from about 150 schools across the Thames Valley school district took part in 12 regional meets to qualify for the Finals. Students in five different age categories from Grades 4 to 8 will participate in nine different events: high jump, long jump, triple jump, softball throw, 100-metre, 400-metre, 800-metre, 1500-metre races and the 4 x 100-metre relay.
