Laurie Hawkins Public School official opening ceremony

Wednesday, May 9, 2012 – A special ceremony beginning at 11:45 a.m. on Friday, May 11, 2012 marks the official opening of Laurie Hawkins Public School.

The school was named in honour of well-known OPP Const. Laurie Hawkins, who died of carbon monoxide poisoning in her home along with her husband and two children in 2008.
