Thames Valley support staff - we salute you!
As part of Education Week celebrations, the Thames Valley District School Board will recognize the contributions of its staff today (May 9, 2012) during Support Staff Appreciation Day. On behalf of the Board of Trustees and the Senior Administration, we would like to take this opportunity to thank these valued members of the Thames Valley community whose focus on each student, every day has helped create dynamic learning opportunities and bright futures for our students. Our support staff make many contributions to the education and well being of our students, and to the community as a whole. Their work enhances each student’s educational experience. In honour of their dedicated service to our students, we salute our support staff. ? ? Support Staff Appreciation Day was introduced by the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation in 1999 to recognize the essential role played by all education workers. They play a prominent role in delivering services that contribute to our students’ success. Support staff will be among those recognized on Thursday, May 10, 2012 as nominees and recipients of the Board’s annual Award of Distinction.
