Employment Opportunities

Thank you for considering employment opportunities with the Thames Valley District School Board. We offer a diverse range of career opportunities in teaching, administration and support staffing. As these become available, employment opportunities are posted to this section of the Board’s web site.

As you are considering employment with the Board, you should know that Thames Valley is one of the largest boards of education in Ontario. It covers Elgin, Middlesex, Oxford Counties and the City of London. We currently have approximately 71,000 secondary and elementary students supported by about 7,200 teachers, principals and support staff making us one of the largest employers in southwestern Ontario.

We administer 138 elementary and 28 secondary schools and 14 unique facilities ranging from outdoor education centres, a school for the arts, adult reading programs for the elderly and care and treatment centres in 19 sites for students aged three to 18.

Criminal Record Check
All new employees hired by Thames Valley District School Board are required to submit a Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Screening. Please note a Criminal Background Check is not required when applying to any advertised position - DO NOT submit with your application.
