Bonaventure Meadows Public School is an elementary school serving the community of London, Ontario. The school was opened to students on Tuesday September 6, 1994. The school is located on grounds that at one time was nothing more than open meadow. Terry Wilkins provides leadership to the school as the principal and Christine Masterson supports Mr. Wilkins in her capacity as vice principal at BMPS.

Our school is located at 141 Bonaventure Drive on the East side of London near Dundas Street East and Airport Road. We are a considerably large school with a student population approaching 700 in number. Our school is equipped with a large gymnasium/auditorium, a large library with an accompanying computer lab, two additional computer labs, and a child care center. Instruction ranges from junior kindergarten up to grade 8.

Milk Order Form

Good News - Once again the milk program is being offered to grade 1-8 students at morning recess. Not only does milk provide 15 essential nutrients that children need to grow, it gives energy they need to get the most out of their day and helps children concentrate. This year all proceeds from the milk program will go towards resources to support our school literacy program. Order forms have just been sent home for January and are to be returned to your child's classroom teacher by Friday, December 16th. Payments can be by cash (exact amount) or cheque payable to the BMPS Milk Program. A form can be downloaded by selecting the graphic on the left. Thank you for your support. Please direct any questions to Mrs. Tague @ 519 452-8060.

Bonaventure Blog

The purpose of this blog is to inform parents and students within the Bonaventure Meadows Public School community about educational issues and events within our school.  Hopefully, you will find it informative as well as a useful way of providing your feedback to us as we work together to make Bonaventure the best place for your child to learn and grow.  To get us started, what comes to your mind when you think of Bonaventure?  What kind of school is Bonaventure and what kind of school do you want it to be? Hopefully we will have many interesting discussions about educational issues and initiatives in Bonaventure.  Feedback is always welcome so continue reading and join in with your point of view:)

Report Bullying Form

Help Combat Bullying

A new page has been added to our web site which offers an online reporting form which can be submitted anonymously to school administration and is not visible to public viewing. We encourage parents and students to take advantage of this form should an event arise within our school. Additional TVDSB resources on various safe schools topics can also accessed from this page for your reference.

Inclusion Stop-Action Animation

We All Belong

Bonaventure students in grades 7 and 8 are participating in a video contest sponsored by TVDSB. The theme is based on equity and inclusion in education and is intended to promote these core values by generating a multi-media presentation. Our primary focus will be on applying the stop-action animation technique using clay and paper. Select the link to the left to see some samples of student work.

Cyberbullying Projects

Grade 6 classes recently completed a unit on cyberbullying in Information Technology class. Their research was presented by generating a multi-media presentation using Movie Maker software. Select the graphic link to the left to view some of the shows produced.
