The Audit Committee - Agendas, Minutes, and Archives.
The Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) provides the Board with advice about special education programs and services. Members of SEAC include representatives from local community-based organizations, three trustees, a local native group and members of the community. Membership is for a four-year term and coincides with the municipal elections.
SEAC meetings are normally held the first Tuesday of the month (except during July and August) at the Education Centre in London.
Through Supervised Alternative Learning for Excused Pupils (SALEP), parents of eligible students may apply for their child’s release from regular, full-time school attendance to participate in an alternative learning experience considered suitable by SALEP. Thames Valley’s SALEP Committee includes a Trustee, a Supervisory Officer, representatives from community youth organizations and the Board’s Learning Supervisor for School and Community Services.
SALEP meetings are held as they are required to consider individual cases.
*All public committee meeting agendas and minutes can be made available in accessible formats.
