Meetings are normally held at the Education Centre, 1250 Dundas Street in London and are open to the public. Committees generally meet throughout the school year.
You are welcome to attend any of the public meetings or to contact the Committee Chairs with questions or comments about issues under consideration.
What are "Board, Standing , Ad Hoc and Administrative committees"?
Board Committees are those in which the Trustees meet in full session–the Information Committee of the Whole, the Committee of the Whole and the regular Board meetings.
Standing Committees are appointed each December by Board motion and are established to address ongoing issues specific to their individual mandates.
Ad hoc Committees are established to respond to specific issues on recommendation by the Chairs’ Committee. They have a defined task and time line for completion.
Administrative Committees are co-ordinated by the Board’s Senior Administration to pursue system initiatives. Trustee representatives are selected to sit on these committees as a resource.
The links to the left will provide you with an overview of the work of the various committees, their mandates, meeting times and committee Chairs.
