Tracy Grant
 | Tracy Grant was first elected to the Thames Valley District School Board in November 2006 for the County of Elgin, representing the municipalities of Aylmer, Bayham, Central Elgin, Dutton-Dunwich. Malahide, St. Thomas, Southwold, and West Elgin. Tracy served as chairperson of the Board in 2011. Tracy currently serves on several Board Committees, including the Special Education Advisory Committee, Supervised Alternative Learning, the Audit Committee, the Negotiations Advisory Committee, the Equity and Inclusive Education Committee and the Mental Health and Wellness Committee. Within her community, Tracy leads the children and youth ministry of Knox-St. Andrew’s Church in Dutton as the Christian Education Coordinator, and is also member of the choir. She serves as a director on the board of Family & Children's Services of St. Thomas and Elgin and on their Services Committee. She is secretary of the FASD E.L.M.O. NETWORK, a group established in 2009 to raise awareness and support for individuals and families touched by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder in the Elgin, London, Middlesex and Oxford area. Tracy has held many volunteer positions within the field of education, special education and children's mental health. In 2008, she was nominated to serve on the Minister's Advisory Council for Special Education (MACSE) representing the Multiple Exceptionalities community - with that appointment renewed through 2013. She was also a founding member of the Coalition for Small Schools, and the West Elgin Citizen’s Group for Rural Education. Tracy and her husband Steve graduated from area high schools and both attended UWO. They are proud parents of Chris and his wife Julie, Sean, Ryan and Daniel.
