| Description | Document | Decision: The attached document reflects the decisions made by the Board of Trustees for the Thames Valley District School board on 2011 June 14 as a result of the Lord Elgin Accommodation Review.
Letter to the Public: At the regular meeting of the Thames Valley District School Board on Tuesday June 14th, 2011, Trustees voted not to close any of the following schools:
-Hillcrest Public School
-Knollwood Park Public School
-Lord Elgin Public School
-Northbrae Public School
-Sir J. A. Macdonald Public School
In 2010, the Board established a community-based Accommodation Review Committee to study the issue of how to accommodate pupils in these schools in the face of declining enrolment. More than 700 empty pupil places now exist within the five schools. View the entire letter to the public HERE.

Board Decision
| The Administrative Response to the ARC Report was received by the Board at its meeting of 2011 April 12. Public input will be heard at the Board Tuesday, 2011 May 10. Board decision is deferred to Tuesday, 2011 June 14.

| The Report of the Lord Elgin ARC as confirmed by the Lord Elgin Accommodation Review Committee on 2011 February 17. This report will be presented to the Board of Trustees at the public meeting of the Board on 2011 March 22.
