Summers' Corners P.S.

Student Achievement

The staff at Summers' Corners are very dedicated and strive to give each student individual attention on a daily basis.  While we value the academic, physical and social education your child receives, we will focus on their reading and writing skills within our student body.  As mandated by the Thames Valley District School Board and the Ministry of Education, each school must select a specific goal on which to focus. We trust that we will see great gains in each and every child in our care so that they may reach and exceed his or her potential.

Our school goals this year are:
Literacy:  to improve the ability of our students to think critically and to communicate their thinking more effectively when completing oral, written and visual tasks across the curriculum.
Numeracy:  to improve the ability of our students to problem-solve in mathematics.
