Information Update

Keeping the natural environment healthy for future generations depends on everyone’s participation.  Students from Port Stanley Public School will partner with Kettle Creek Conservation Authority, the Municipality of Central Elgin and the Port Stanley Village Association to clean up different areas in Port Stanley.  Students in grades one to eight will be involved with the clean up at a few different locations and JK/SK students will do some environmental stewardship around the school.  Parents and other community volunteers are welcome to assist us with this worthwhile endeavour.

This year, Education Week is being held across the province during the week of May 6th to May 10th, 2013.  During this week there are many exciting events taking place such as JK/SK Orientation, the Book Fair and Jump Rope for Heart.  If you would like to visit, we always welcome our parents.  Feel free to contact your child’s teacher to see which day may be the best day to visit and be sure to sign in at the office.
