Lester B. Pearson School for the Arts
Your workshop days are identified in the letter that will be mailed to your home.Parents are responsible for the transportation of their child to and from Lester B. Pearson School for the Arts on the date/s of the workshops. Below you will find a map outlining directions to the school.
A Drop Off Zone will be set up in front of the school to allow children easy access to the school. This will enable parents to remain in their cars while dropping off and picking up their children.
Due to the arrival of many students at the same time, we ask that you use the Drop Off Zone.
There will be no access to the school parking lot.
Students should arrive promptly at 9:30 a.m. and should be picked up promptly at 3:20 p.m.
Please adhere to these times as supervision is not provided for your child prior to 9:30 a.m. or after 3:20 p.m. If you come early or late you will be caught in the confusion of school bus unloading so please adhere strictly to the times noted.
Students will be met at the Drop Off Zone and escorted into the school where they will begin their Workshop activities. The same process will be observed at the 3:20 p.m. dismissal time. Once again, please wait outside in your car at the Drop Off Zone and your child will be escorted out to you. Please do not bring your child into the school or enter the school to pick them up. We will collect them from you and bring them out to you outside.
We ask for your co-operation and patience during this process. We acknowledge that there may be time delays. Due to the increased traffic we must strictly enforce that no child will be allowed to cross the street without adult supervision. ALL CHILDREN MUST BE PICKED UP IN FRONT OF THE SCHOOL ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF TRAFALGAR STREET.
Parent participation and observation cannot be accommodated during the Workshops. We thank you in advance for respecting this.
