PCI ATTENDANCE PROCEDURES

GOAL: ON TIME!! ALL THE TIME!!

Our collective goal at Parkside is to promote and reinforce academic and personal success for all students. To this end, we believe that the best environment for this success occurs in a school that maximizes learning time in our instructional periods.

EXPECTATIONS: Timely arrival to class for all students who are prepared to learn, contributes to this success and reinforces personal responsibility for learning. Students are expected to be in their classrooms BEFORE the final bell rings.

Sign in at the office.

Students are to attend classes DIRECTLY after leaving the office.

Students are expected to serve detentions as assigned for habitual lates.

If a call was not made you MUST bring a note upon your return, signed by your parent/guardian to the main office.

The note must identify the date of absence and the reason.

If a note or telephone call is not received, you will be considered truant.

Students are expected to serve detentions as assigned for habitual truancies.

Please bring your note to the office before classes begin or on your break. You will be issued a demit slip to be given to your teacher.
