Welcome to the caring, learning environment of North Meadows Public School. Our School Improvement Plan for 2012-2013 focuses on increasing the percentage of students reading at the TVDSB set targets by 3 to 5 percent and increasing the percentage of grade 3 and 6 students scoring at level 3 or higher in problem solving on the 2013 EQAO test by 5 percent. Our active School Council supports our efforts with ideas from a parent perspective, as well as with financial resources for new books and classroom resources. As a team, parents and staff work towards the common goal of improved student learning. As well, the staff and parents provide numerous extra curricular opportunities for the students, ranging from sports teams and clubs to special events.  Our students are indeed fortunate to have such a knowledgeable and interested staff and parent community, and we are fortunate to be part of that productive community as well.
