Our school goal focuses on strenghtening literacy skills. Specifically, we are striving to improve reading fluency and comprehension. One way of measuring our progress will be through the EQAO results. We hope that at least 69% of our grade 3 students and 70% of our grade 6 students will meet the provincial standard in reading. This is the established target that supports the TVDSB goal. We will continue to use other means of developing and monitoring student performance at all grade levels throughout the school year.
