Attendance Reminders

Parents are reminded that they need to call Mrs. Kikkert, the attendance secretary, when a student is going to be absent from IDCI because of illness, appointment, etc. If you suspect the absence is connected to flu-like symptoms, please indicate this in the message. Call 519-485-1200 and follow the prompt for attendance. There needs to be a call for each day of absence unless you have stated the number of days in the initial phone call.

Notes should be handed into the attendance secretary only when there has not been a phone call to explain the absence.

All students who return from an absence must see the attendance secretary for an admit slip before going to class following an absence.
